    I have tried google translate and nothing seems to make sense. I thought it was Latin but any help would be appreciated! London hallmarks. Thank you! IMG_6881.JPG IMG_6879.JPG IMG_6883.JPG Approx. 4 x 3.25 inches.

    I have the advantage of living in Europe, close to the source, and having British relatives (and a smidgen of Norman blood:D).;)
    Knowing French also helps, although it isn't modern French.

    Order of the Garter and all that. Looks like it belonged to a Knight whose name started with a G.
