Interesting Duck--Indian?

    Any thoughts duck1.jpg on this carved. painted and sequined duck? From the paint traces I would say it's quite old. The carving is very detailed. The duck measures 17" long--almost life-size.

    It is beautiful. Those sequins are typical for crafts from Thailand and Laos.
