organ_front[1].jpg Found this memorial plaque, but can not find anything on what organ front means.

    Any help would be appreciated.

the organist may have had an entrance of his own, so he wasn't seen entering the church or building by the attenders.

    "Organ Front
    Peoples Burial Co.
    Mr. King Robinson"

I'm "thinking" that the "Peoples Burial Co." donated something (?the organ?/ "organ front"?) in honor/memory of someone (perhaps in honor/memory of "Mr. King Robinson"?).

Just wondering but . . . would you mind saying at least which "continent" this was found in?

Interesting thought. Since this is stain glass it is possible this was part of a door at one time.

In the late 1800s, it was not uncommon to find companies listed as Undertaker/Furniture Maker. I assume that undertakers made their own caskets as well as cabinetry to be sold to the general public.
Possibly Mr. King Robinson was a local merchant operating as the Peoples Burial Company and donated the facade of the organ to a church and the plaque would be to acknowledge this gift.

on a pipe organ this glass would make a noise; and parts may fall out due to the frequencies. and frankly, if it was inside on the organ - that building had a roof where it rained in. how should it become so dirty ?

But it might have been a door or wall somewhere in the building along with other plaques recognizing donations.

never seen such a wet and/or dirty and humid inside of a building that the strips of lead start to show surface corrosion.

Depends on when the building came down and where it was stored. Damp basement, leaking attic, . . .
