interesting Imari charger do you think this was clobbered?

    and what does that little red marking on the bottom mean? is that Dutch or some sort of faux asian mark? from a recent auction

    This one is making me make a puzzled face. Interior looks Japanese, rim looks Chinese, prunus decoration around rim underside could be either (but looks more Japanese to me) and the mark could be stylized anything (I can discern "La" if I turn my head sideways)! So no, I don't thinks it's clobbered, but what it is, I really couldn't say, LOL!
