Introducing myself and English Tea Sets

Hello All. My name is Dwight and I have been a long-time off and on again antiquer. I am trying to help some friends evaluate, appraise and potentially sell a variety of antique English tea sets.

Here are some pics and I can provide all information on makes, marks, set numbers, etc.

 

Is there a reason you're not sharing "all information on makes, marks, set numbers, etc."? It would help forum members help you if this information were available in your initial post.

2nd and 3rd pic *might* be Coalport but Deb was right. Why no markings ?

 

Markings are direly needed. No marks, no hope.

 

The titles of the photographs contain information the OP isn't sharing: "Foreign No. 10 6-piece Tea Set," "Royal Worchester Fine Bone China Tea Set," "St Michael Bone China No. 2586 Tea Set" and "Wade of England Royal Worchester Gold 5-piece Tea Set."

we don't do values , for a host of reasons , mainly because prices are all over the place.....

search eBay completed auctions.... etsy, and dinnerware auctions.....for a cross section of prices asked and those received..

The pots shown appear to be coffee pots, not tea pots. Just sayin'.

The pieces of the Royal Worcester fruit set have significant value. The others... not so much. Check eBay SOLD prices for pricing ideas.

 

Love set number 2, but it falls far outside of the realm that I collect.

 

Thanks for your replies! I will gather more information and get back to you all. This area of antiques is new to me. I have checked on Ebay and other sights and you're right, the pricing is all over the place. For some though, it's hard to find any information.

I still think they have minimal value, except the RW fruit pieces. You should get a tidy sum for those! As already stated, check eBay SOLD prices for examples.
