Introduction... on the hunt for some history

    Hi all. I'm Steve, and came across these boards on the hunt for some background on a rather fascinating carved coconut that my grandmother was given in the 1950s. I started a thread over here about it:

    This looked like a good place to start on my hunt to find out a little more about what the background might be. And I'm curious to see what antiques people have and talk about. Anything with a story behind it interests me.
