introduction

    I have been online for well over 35 years now, and was formerly the operator of the CompuServe Collectibles Forums, if any of you remember that ISP. In that capacity, I had to handle more than four million messages, and quite a few thousand image files. I have handled coins, stamps, autographs, sportscards, and all sorts of miscellany, but sometimes I get puzzled where sources seem to contradict.

    If I see something at auction which piques my interest, I pretty much want to have it. Then I have to find out just what it is.
