    Hi Folks
Found this at the local flea market today. Figured for $5 I would take a chance. Is it new , old , junk , good , bad , tourist. Never came across one before so for the price thought it was worth bringing home. There was a threat of rain this morning so not many folks set up.
The carving appears to be a Goose? The base shows where it once had two stickers. There are some numbers and a faint name that is just Lucy. The other side of the base appears to have something carved in it as well but cant make it out. Dark soapstone with a hint of green.
    Thanks for any info.
    Kevin

    It's a goose..:)
the numbers are disc #'s....specific to each artist....
    the lucy....could be inuit script ( above ) ..

It won't win an award....but it's real and worth more than $5...

    Awesome information.
    Thank you so much.
I will have to see if the script lines anything up.
It was tough to find anything today with no one set up.
