    At the quick glance I took I thought it leather and the clip a way to keep it connected to a sleeve!!!! :rolleyes:

    Jonathan and Drew Scott would probably be interested. Apparently they spent their younger years traveling about Scotland, tracing their heritage, and they are putting a suit of armor in their new Las Vegas home.

    I doubt the object is iron-test with a magnet and see if the magnet attracts it and let us know. If not is most likely resin.

    I am guessing that it is iron but for sure it is some type of metal. Saw this at the local antique mall but did not buy it ($28 price tag) becuase was not sure if I can make something on the top.

    If I had it I'd mount it on the end of a 3-foot long stick and lay it on the shoulder of an unsuspecting person, approaching from behind them, having a friend videotape the victim from the front. Put the funny reactions on you-tube, opt for advertising. After you clear $100. or so, send me 10% of the monthly revenue for the idea. Now go back and buy it. Don't pick elderly victims.
