Iron Stove Maker ?

Anyone recognize a cast iron stove maker with the initials 'B Mc L & co'. These initials are cast as a monogram in this stove door circa 1880's.

 

There was a Bussey & McLeod in Troy, NY that made stoves, don't know about yours.

Good question . . . have to just be a neat Victorian cast iron piece of for now. Looks like it was a hinged grate behind the actual door to keep coals from falling out, setting your house on fire !

 

I like the way that one in the link has a nice Victorian Pac Man ghost door.
