Iron Stove Maker ?

    Anyone recognize a cast iron stove maker with the initials 'B Mc L & co'. These initials are cast as a monogram in this stove door circa 1880's. s-l1600 - 2023-05-17T121152.332.jpg

    Good question . . . have to just be a neat Victorian cast iron piece of for now. Looks like it was a hinged grate behind the actual door to keep coals from falling out, setting your house on fire !
