Lots of folks with money out there-you know what Musk spent his money on-so anything & everything's possible ?
I think some Listers are just out to rattle folks chains-'or best offer'.

I remember the day I bought it. I was shopping at Fortunoff's with my grandmother for my new apt and I looked at the clock a few times and my grandmother said, you seem to like it, buy it. So I did.

Thanks and it still works. I just put a new battery in yesterday. It was great to take on trips and when the power went out. And it reminds me of my grandmother.

One did "sell" for $200 in December, but that's the only sold listing i've seen. Maybe try an auction starting at $40-$50 and see if you get any lookers/watchers.

Thanks SIS. I am pretty sure I don't want to part with it. Too many good memories.
Things these days don't last, this clock was purchased about 1991 or so.

But if I find another, perhaps that would sell.

Hi Lucille yes it does light up like that. Especially good at night as it is a blue hue not a blaring white. Takes one battery.

AJ if memory serves me right, I paid about $30 for it. I have it on my night stand.

Personally I'd prefer earlier innovative electric clocks of substance. Here, the General Electric 372 from 1937. Large, walnut case, Telechron movement. Scarce model I found for $25. As with all collecting, folks buy what they're passionate about . . a friend recently bought a 60's Micky Mouse clock for $135. Kept quite on that purchase !

    Nice, Drew! Great looking clock.

No longer have it, but this Seth Thomas clock is the version of the one I had growing up as a youngin' in the 1960s. I used to hide treasures in the little drawer and thought it was the most secret place ever, because you couldn't easily see it was a drawer when it was closed.

Lucille great clock. I never saw one with the drawer. That is definitely a cutie.
