Is this a Chromolithograph?

    This measures 26" x 17". Its from a painting by Jerome Thompson. Its titled and has printers info in the left corner..It was attached to thin piece canvas.

    Can't be certain from the photos, but I would guess it is, given the printed title and publisher.

    Less misty pictures would help, but I agree, it probably is.

    Yes, chromolithograph issued by Addington Frye...with the original canvas backing.

    If you look at the image area through a loupe or magnifying glass, do you see an irregular dot pattern, with the dots slightly different in size and shape in different areas?. If you do, then it's a chromolithograph. If not, then another printing process was used.
