    Hello everyone and happy weekend!!!

I was looking up what this cut is and I thought I saw the sides made it a mine cut but then I am seeing that mine cuts are a little square This ring cleaned up nicely and appears to have very good clarity and color on the main stone Do the markings look familiar? Any information you can lend is very much appreciated Center stone is almost 5mm and the size is a teeny 5

    Thank you in advance

This is not an Old Mine cut stone. I would call it a Transitional or early Modern Brilliant cut.
It looks squarish to you because of the corner prongs.
This image below is an Old Mine cut.

This first diamond is an Old Mine cut. The second diamond is an Old European Cut.
Your diamond doesn't look like either one.

I thought from the side that it kinda looked like the mine cut but definitely not from the top

Hard to tell for sure, but it may be 1930s-1950s

The maker's mark is too worn to tell anything.Does the diamond have a flat culet?

It's a modern round brilliant,The cut was invented in 1918 and took years before it was commonly used and accepted by the cutters.

The relatively large table and the pointed culet are the two deciding factors, ruling out an old cut.
At just under 5mm, your carat size is possibly .40-.45
Someone should be wearing that beauty!

On me a size 4 is a pinkie ring... maybe. If would make a good necklace charm too.
