Is this a Philo B. Gilbert Spoon circa 1830- 1868

I found the mark on the 925 site here:

Would this be considered a serving spoon or a soup spoon? 8" long and the bowl is 2 7/8" by 1 3/4". Thank you again!!!

 

That is Gilbert's mark, with pseudo-marks attributed to his shop - in that beaded pattern, you're looking at the latter part of his working period...

I'd call it a table spoon.
