IS THIS A UNSIGNED PATRICK NAGEL PAINTING?

I bought this from a friend who found it in a storage unit he won at auction. I immediately thought it was a Patrick Nagel painting - but it doesn't have a signature?
Did Nagel ever not sign his works?
I've had some of his prints before that were not nearly this large - did he make large paintings? (This one measures 60" x 38" w/frame)
If you need more pics I'll take it down, but again - it's a biggie!
    Thanks for any help.

Can't tell from these pics whether it's a painting or a print. Certainly looks like his work.

EDIT - Also I don't think he made "paintings" per se. He worked in prints mainly, often starting off his process from photographs ( from what I've read).

I think it may be someone else doing Nagel.

The stark white background is atypical. I'd expect a block of color or a faux shadow/outline.

He's someone I really liked at the time, but not someone I know well enough to judge with any certainty.

EDIT: Also, there are some pretty wobbly lines in this. I'm voting "not Nagel".

Per wikipedia, he completed 80 canvases.

Thanks for that - I tend to miss important details at times when I'm more or less "skimming" several articles at once.

Even though he did them, I still think it's a "no".

This site seems to be associated with officially licensing his works - although the site seems a bit out of date to me - you might try their contact page:
