Is this a Weidrich Brothers Vase?

This heavy vase is a Weidlich I think, but unmarked. I found one like it on Pinterest but when I clicked on it, it wasn't there, no info. I searched eBay for it, but couldn't find it. Same result on Picclick. I know they started in the early part of 20th century, this one and ones by Weidlich are listed as antique. I guess my questions are...
    Is it a Weidlich?
    Is it silver plate?
    How old could it be?
Is the hole in the vase (see pic) the silver plate over what metal?
Part of this (the top) appears hand forged?
    Is this considered repousse?
Should I clean it (it obviously didn't see much love) or leave it alone to sell it?

Sorry for all the questions, never had one of these before and my search is limited, I got lucky looking for Dutch Style to find one like it, the unsigned part leave me confused.
As always, I appreciate the gift of your knowledge...

Normally Weidlich would be marked somewhere - usually underneath and I don't see their usual shield mark. This thing looks like it was buried in the ground for a long time.

Since there is no way to know the maker, I can only go on the decoration theme. "Dutch" decor was quite popular in the circa 1920 time frame. Give it 5 years or so each side of that?

Assuming it was plated, whatever surface metal was on the visible sides is pretty much gone now and what was underneath the surface appears to be "pot metal" or "german or nickel silver." Both of those "silver substitute" alloys contained no actual silver, and there was no "official" recipe for making them. Zinc and copper were the most common ingredients from what I have seen.

As for your other questions - made in a mold, no significant handwork seen beyond the folding over of the top edge, repousse? - no. You would see evidence on the inside of the "pressing out" to create the design on the outside.

Cleaning? Good luck. You could try, but unless it looks a lot better in person than in your pictures, I doubt there is much hope. Are you planning to sell this?

I would like to try to clean it as best as I can to sell it. There was very slight magnetic when I used the magnet on it.
