Featured Is this an Art Vase? Marked with a rose!

    I just had to buy this. This is something I've always dreamed of doing ... but here this has been done with finesse!

    So - do I call this an Art Vase?

    But more importantly, do you know who made it? The mark on the base is an impressed rose (or some other flower). I bought it in France, so I am thinking its French. Perhaps the potter saw a piece of Ewen Henderson's work.

    ..who must have seen Shigaraki and Iga pots at some time ...more likely the rose potter had a look a George Ohr, no?

    Studio pottery rather than art pottery, maybe.
