Featured Is this anything...or nothing special ?

    Sorry for the poor pics......but I doubt the object merits better....
    About 3 1/2 tall by 3 wide.
    The cap is stone , the snuff is glass...likely a mold.

    The bottle looks like pottery to me but you have it in hand.

    Opium is too sticky & hard to ever enter or leave the opening.

    It's called a snuff bottle for a reason...

    The bottle looks like molded porcelain, bone spoon, serpentine top on cork stopper.
    Those serpentine discs were used a lot from the 1920s-'50s.

    Snuff bottles were meant for snuff tobacco and herbal medicine. Opium had other containers, but if you really want you can try getting the goo in and out of such a tiny opening.

    The 'imperial' mark on the bottom is a reference to a certain period, it is not the period the bottle was made in. This doesn't mean the bottle is a fake. The mark is often used when something is in the style of that period or just as an hommage to an emperor or style.
