    I bought a storage unit at auction a long time ago. In it was this little vase. Apparently this military woman had been buying various items in her travels during the early 50s.
    Just wondering if its just a cute little vase.

    Yes. Fireworks! Just now saw this, or I'd have replied before. I know the Chinese are supposed to have invented this, but having small children playing about with such things seems a tad naive.
