Featured Is this chair trash?

I thought this chair was interesting enough to spend $14. The other dealer I talked to about it disagreed.

I got home and decided I was wrong: she was right.

I'll try to sell it this weekend unless anybody thinks I shouldn't.

32" tall; probably commercial hardwood 2" boards; only moderately comfortable

 

looks like a home wood project you used to find in Popular mechanics ...

 

Sell it if you can. Putting in front of house with FREE sign usually works too.

It looks like early 70s trestle furniture; no one around here wants it except as firewood.

 

Could it be an occasional chair to go along side an occasional table?

 

It looks very 70s to me too. Idk someone might find it interesting looking... Might put it on fb with a plant sitting in it as an example of a vintage upcycle to plant stand. The plant kids like a bit more of that look.

 

I also vote 70s faux colonial when the Bicentennial was all the rage. My rear hurts just thinking about how uncomfortable that thing is !

I'm gonna be a dealer at a local antique show tomorrow morning--my first time ever. I've got it priced at $15, but I'll take $10 if anyone asks.

 

Sold for $15 soon after opening = $1 profit!
