IS this deer / stag statue indian?

    Does anyone know if this is an indian (india) statue of a deer?

    It is metal and is decorated with circles (reminds me of old viking statues), but has an india feel to it?

    Any information concerning country, value etc would be greatly apreciated.

    It looks more like it could be Chinese to me, doesn't seem to fit stylistically with Indian brasses I've seen ...but of course there's always a first time!

    seems it could be a chinese spotted deer Feng Shui style but than made by a designer, tuff to date it though.

    Yes it is attached, the base and statue both have a designer feel. for example the antlers head etc are all angled not rounded..

    The base and deer itself are of the same material, it could be spelter (it has the weight) does not seem to be bronze.
