    Limoges is a town with many different pottery companies.
    These little plates were popular in the 1950s-70s.
    And yes it was made in Limoges France.
    The mark is over glaze so it maybe the export/import mark.

    Very pretty, but get that metal "hanger" off carefully.

    The mark is for the decorator Limoges Castel. That's all I know!

    Welcome Paige! Sizes and a shot of the entire back would be helpful Please research the hangar. If this is a miniature plate the hangar could actually be a stand and belongs on the plate. I agree with cluttered's assessment.

    Those metal hangers are original to the plates.

    Don the size is usually 1 1/2" to 2". Some where in there.

    @Paige canfield
    Don's right though, sizes would always be helpful.

    Thanks for pointing that out, Pat. I don't think I have ever seen a hanger like that in person.

    Actually Don is correct. It's not really a hanger but a small easel stand, and they are affixed to the mini plates.
