    Hi guys,

I've found one or two similar plates called palissy but not many. Is this likely by minton.
It certainly looks old to me but other than that I'm out.
The minton ones are extremely high quality usually compared to this.

    What dyou reckon?

The colors are not very well applied. Rather sloppy I think.

Wait for others, but I'm not sure it is old.

The last paragraph of the wiki page has the reference to this use of Palissy Ware. I know what you mean though, it's a jump from the lobsters and lizards were used to haha

"Palissy ware is also the name given [6] by Minton & Co for a new range of lead-glazed earthenware: "...what is now known as majolica was a range of vibrantly coloured lead glazes launched in 1849 as Palissy ware. Only later did these become known as majolica ware".[7]"

This post shows a few plates similar to mine, I agree that mine is weirdly sloppy, like treacle, but it seems well made for the most part, not sure what to say
