It's been suggested to me that this is from Northeast India, probably mid-20th century. I can't find other examples that are similar so I don't know whether to accept that attribution or not. That incised wave and dot pattern should provide a clue. Measures 9 1/4" high and 10" in diameter - weighs over 8 lbs. Does anyone have an idea?
