Is this silver, hmmm?

I’ve bought this wine pourer (?) and was told it is silver. I have my doubts, but it benefits an animal charity so I’m not too fussed. Still, it would be nice if it is. Can anyone tell? I am travelling and stuck with the iPad, so photos aren’t great. Opinions most welcome. Thanks.

Can't identify the marks, but from the aspect of metal, I'd say it is silver

 

Colour and bloom is wrong for silver. Marks look like pewter. I'll try to find more re marks

 

I am inclined to say silver as well.

It's only just part the crack of dawn here and I'm not yet fully caffeinated, but my thinking is that if there's any silver in this item, it's plated.

I'm also wondering whether the stamps are better "read" the other way round from the picture (so the "W" is an "M")

Possibly Gorham? No, the mark on the left is probably the maker. I am starting to ramble now.

 

Thank you so much!! But it's not Gorham, for sure. There's no anchor or lion and the shield shape, the M and little diamond at the end don't go with Gorham at all.

Looks like there may be letters in the shield?

Thanks folks. 10 euros to charity and what ho. It felt wrong to me but my brother bought it while I was umming, so now I have this totally useless thing. Suppose I donate it to another charity and let it make its way in the world. Damn. Would be good to score something marvellous, since this trip I am a builder’s labourer and working my ass off on a renovation site. Blinking brothers and their fake silver ...

 

It may still sell well enough. Wine decanting funnel is the term.
