Hello & Happy Thanksgiving to everybody in USA !
I don't get out much so I was intrigued by the aggressive look to this. I immediately thought of Vikings ! LOL !
I was told it was Depression Glass but it looks new - there's not a scratch inside !
Anyway, I think it's a very pretty blue, especially in daylight.
Do you think it's old or new?
Is that "diamond point" or is there a different name for it?
Thanks in advance for any info. 20171124_203053.jpg 20171124_203204.jpg 20171124_203304.jpg 20171124_203341.jpg

Is that a silver plate edge?
The color and silver edge are more 70s than depression era.

Our annual Main Street open house aat the store tonight, my mind is kind of wonky, diamond point sounds right. But wait for someone else to confirm.

There is absolutely no marking on the metal band. It looks like chrome to me, but I am not knowledgeable about these things.

So many ads use Indiana Glass as a descriptor and so many say what they have is "Cut Glass" that I suspect not all are truthful.

Can't say I am actually a fan of the spikey look but colour realy intrigued me. Not Ice, Aqua, Teal - maybe aquamarine. Like this, although thats not spikey. images.jpg

It is molded - not cut

I've a jar full of those coins. Let me know if they become worth something again.

The "toonies" are getting smaller all the time. Love the glass piece.
