    I *think* they made that style of storage for some shops - like hardware, and perhaps other stores, but I don't know if they made any that had "steps" like this one.

    Thanks guys.

    I know they are called storage cabinets, but isn't there a particular name for the 'L-shaped' example I posted above? Were there vintage or antique versions of this style cabinet? If so, I'm trying to find out what they are called and/or who *might* have designed that type/style cabinet.

    Hi,
    I also had two art deco book cases stepped like that. They made great end tables for a sofa.

    Hi Shiloh,
    There are many different kinds. When I was in Japan my friends had them stacked as stairs to reach the loft in their tiny house.
