    IMG_6918.JPG IMG_6919.JPG IMG_6921.JPG IMG_6922.JPG Hi,
This is a 14" diameter heavy ceramic platter made in Italy. The medallion on the front looks like a bird in front of an arch maybe. Is that a signature or some number system on the back? This is a stretch, but the way ITALY is written looks very similar, to me, to ceramics by Ugo Zaccagnini. Any thoughts or suggestions how to research to get more info appreciated.

Try the Bitossi groupon FAcebook, they're brilliant on ITALY marks.

The Bitossi group worked like a charm. Immediately identified as Baldelli from 1960s-70s. Was then able to find several of his works with the chicken/bird medallion and same leaf(?) design around the border. Thanks Owned!
