Don't get me wrong, I don't shun well known names, by any means. Grabbing a Tiffany piece for a steal at auction does get my blood pumping, as it would any of us.

Of all the pieces that have come and gone over the years my favourites are rarely made by well known folks. It's the beautiful handmade things that steal my heart.

Thinking of the loving Grandad, Dad, or Uncle who spent hours collecting the pieces. All that time in the workshop making things "perfect". Or the child (or children) who spend hours kneeling in front of it; gassing up Hot Wheels and repairing Matchboxes.

If you want to see more they are posted here

What primitive piece you found and just had to have?

My apologies, despite being around computers all the time, I am not always that tech savvy.

    Hopefully that fixed the photosize.

    It’s ok. :)
We’ve all done it and some still do.

I love nice wood projects made by kids in school and when we had ‘shop’ classes. :(
    I have some cool ones.
I also like nice Pinewood Derby cars.
Any of these signed is a plus. :)
I have quite a few of those wood clothespin ducks to hold stuff as well as little wood boots and shoes though those are probably too well done for kids to have made them.

The arrows certainly give it a drive-thru feeling.

Believe it or not those two pumps are partially painted with gold leaf.

It has been years since I have been in a shop class, but this is well beyond anything I learned. I feel like it too well constructed to be a school assignment. The glass in the windows are actually glass rather than plexi.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Many people here will not click on links. So, just to let you know, it will be better for you to insert photos directly into your post as you did in this one.

    I concur.
Partly because many don't 'know' you yet PDP and partly because people like me, who use their phone a lot, are tired of going near insane trying to look at such photos on a phone. :(

Yes, it is pretty bad on a phone. I am using one right now and generally won't click links from here. I usually will click links if I'm on my computer, though.

Yes, I rarely will on my phone and I often won’t on my computer even if I ‘know’ the person.
