    Mock Heraldic Tieclip - best guess.:) They made a ton of this stuff, only a small portion of which was accurate or meant anything. Does it says Swank or Anson or something similar on the back?

    I was thinking it was a Fraternity tie tack. Hubby has a few items like that cluttering up his dresser.

    Btw, I can make out Alpha Gamnma Delta on your piece. The "L"s are being written like an upside down Vs. This Greek organization is a bit different. It is a woman's fraternity rather than a sorority!
