I've had this painting for over four years, picked it up in a flea market. It was sandwiched between a chord of drip paintings. I picked it because it was totally different than all the rest. The canvas which has a greenish tint to it, canvas is stapled on the sides, with paint going down the sides like it was painted while it was laying flat. Has plenty of gray and burgundy and a couple of yellow dots, purposely alone. Changes depending on how you look at it. IFAR (International Foundation for Art Research) is aware of it as I have been meaning to send it in for research but have not had the funds to do so. I sent it to Peter Paul Biro out of Canada and he said it had enough semblance to warrant further testing starting with the paint, unfortunately, what he asked for was too expensive so I had him send it back to me. Currently I have it for sale on ebay but, hopefully nobody will bid on it as it is in my bucket list, to send it in for authentication. Feel free to offer your opinion, thanks. jack 1.jpg jack 2.jpg

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

I am having a hard time getting a good look due (I think) to the flashes... would you mind getting at least one full frontal shot with just ambient light in a bright room?

Wow, it may be just me, but... if it's so important to you, I'd snatch it off of eBay and hang on to it!

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

That's what I meant, Mario! Don't let it get away! You seem to love it so!

Meanwhile, for a chuckle, you may enjoy this site... http://games.usvsth3m.com/pollocksorbollocks/

These are some of the works you're comparing it to, I bet (below).

Thanks for the photos... great! Well, it's a question beyond my abilities... there are some art brainiacs here who will have a look, I'm sure.

I suspect in the right light this would look completely different . Good pictures make a world of difference in selling as well .

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

    Mario's offering his maybe-Pollack at 250, Komo!
Shouldn't he hang on to it? He loves it, Pollock or no, I think...

    HI, todos ustedes.

Am I interpreting Mario correctly? Seems he would like to take Gila's advice and keep his maybe Pollock - "I have it for sale on ebay not wanting to buy it off of ebay."

Mario, I THINK that sentence sounds as though you think you have to bid on it.
You don't. If you want to keep it just cancel the listing.

Ah bien. Maybe you can make that clear to him. E-mail him?

If Biro said it had enough semblance to warrant further testing, I'd have it in a locked vault. But how did he feel about returning it with no further advice.
My guess might be it tending toward après.

That's not his listing. He's using the same picture (the painting with reflection in mirror) as he posted here.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Mario... the pictures you took for me above are so much better than the ones in your eBay auction... I'd really suggest replacing them! Or at least adding them!
