I have this jadite ball jug, and no reason to doubt its authenticity except that so much jadite has been reproduced. I googled and saw many references to the ribbed ball jug reproductions, but did not see any examples of this one being reproduced. Does anyone know if this jug has been reproduced?

The measurements/weight of my jug are within the range I've seen on-line for examples that sold high, and it has a straw line on the underside like most examples have. The woman I got it from said it was quite old, for what that's worth.

    Thanks.

Ok, here is my 2 cents. I think that yours is real and old and not a repro. I have seen the repro ribbed ones online so I know what you are talking about.
    I love it. Good luck.
Hope some other glassies chime in.
