James Avery?

Googled it and looks like one of james Avery retired rings but idk the stamps? I see STER bout it

 

Sorry...I don't think it is Avery. His mark I believe is a 3 candle candelabra with a J A on each side.

 

It might be a copy, but there's no Avery mark on this.

 

This is a James Avery retired Claddagh ring...note the hallmark...Yours is not his work.

 

Looks like you do have some hallmark to the extreme left can you make it out?

 

The hallmark looks like a number? 1963 ?? Not sure?

Similar...but your heart has cuts in it and other differences. Yours is nice, but I really don't think it is the same ring.

 

I don't believe this is the same ring either, although it does appear to be a copy.

Identical ..is a strong word........ so is fake....but when the design is this closely copied ..........

 

They don't look identical,Ashley's ring has a copyright mark,does the other ring have one? Maybe the theme was replicated by both makers from an earlier design by someone else.

 

Sorry to say but the Avery ring is a much higher quality. The ring you have just doesn't appear to be of good quality.

 

Sorry to say I agree with @necollectors , the quality on yours isn't as nice as on the Avery ring. It's not "faked" with marks, but it's a "look alike" made to emulate the same pattern.

 

Can anyone here help with a hallmark I thought for the longest time was James Avery or perhaps direct me to a site for identifying hallmarks.

I zoomed in and realized it is completely different.
