Japanese? (2 plates)

    I inherited these from my father's Estate.

    They are indentical. Two plates. About 8" in diameter. Pottery, not porcelain.

    They are signed on the back.

    Any information gratefully received. Thank you.

    Would you say they were Acanthus leaves?

    Chinese and 200 ish years old, circa 1800. Nice bold designs.
