Japanese bowl

    Another find in the shop window in Carlisle yesterday. I think it's Japanese as I used to have a smaller piece which has the same finish on the base. Maybe Chinese though. Who knows? Ø~20cm

    definitely japanese, when you see that big mostly unglazed base its usually japanese, decoration looks so as well
