Japanese Floral & Beaded Vase...I.D Help??

    Someone put a hole through the mark....All,I can read is Japan...Any help on age or maker appreciated!...It is 13" tall IMG_9001.JPG IMG_9003.JPG IMG_9004.JPG IMG_9002.JPG IMG_9007.JPG IMG_9006.JPG IMG_9005.JPG

    Heck, somebody ruined a perfectly nice vase by trying to make it into a lamp. I don't know if it said anything other than "Made in" where they drilled it. It would be 20th century, anyway. The dots are enamel.

    It's unlikely that identifying the exact manufacturer would add much value. For the most part Noritake is about the only pottery of this genre that is collectible by name and this isn't Noritake. Janet is right - 20th century - probably the first quarter of the century. Love the handles!

    Much of that air-brushed look seemed to be popular around the 1920s. You might get a clue to the mark on gotheborg.com.
