Japanese Hirado? Seto?

    Hoping someone can help with this cup and saucer. Got it from a very important estate sale. I have 5 sets total.

    Once again I find myself wondering if these are real characters, or some European attempt at imitation. (Usually they turn out to be real, and I simply can't tell.)

    It's very pretty.

    More, this came from a well known (worldwide) family estate. Lots of other Asian antiques along with a wide variety of other things.
