Can anyone help read or otherwise identify this mark on a Japanese Studio pottery vase I recently acquired? The design is made with a wax resist, and a brown glaze. I don't think it is technically a tenmoku glaze, but I'd be happy to be corrected. Also, would this be Bizen ware? Definitely wheel thrown stoneware. It's 8" tall. Thanks all for looking. It does have the appearance of Bizen at the base, for sure. No idea who though!
