benbenny007 I buy rubbish, and sell antiques

Any ideas who the artist could be of these japanese woodblock prints? Or maybe two different artists?

The site I looked at is http://www.ukiyo-e.se/signatur.html, which provides the signatures of many ukiyo-e artists. With so much text on your 2 prints, it may be a challenge to identify what is the signature. On the first one (the warrior on horseback) I think it would be the 2 vertical panels on the lower right. They are read down each column, from right to left. On the signature site you need to make the comparison (you don't upload an image). When I use it, I scroll through the actual examples of signatures trying to spot a match, rather than using the first character as provided on the left part of the lists. The script on the prints tends to be more "cursive" than the single character guide - which is probably of more use to those who actually read Japanese.
