After extensive searching, I STILL can't find out who made this piece. It appears to be porcelain with a satiny, maybe even baked on finish. It is about 4" tall and 4 1/4" wide wide and features grapes, grape leaves, s bird, and a butterfly. Please tell me anything and everything you can about this mystery piece! Thanks!

I'd call it more Japonesque than Japanese. No clue where it came from, or exactly when. If it's Japanese it was made for the Western market.

I don't think this looks like Japanese design.
    Maybe India or that region.

Can't help but it is a pretty pot.

For photos, if you click on "insert all images as a full image" after loading your photos, they will appear in the text, which is preferred.

Hopefully someone can help ID this piece!

Grapes are a European theme. I can't actually see any of the design but I don't think Eastern for that reason.
