Jeweled Lamps ?

    Wanted to know what time period were these jeweled lamps popular and were most U.S made or imported ? Several I've seen have early sockets - pre 1920's.

    I had a hanging one like this once and couldn't find any info on it. We finally sold it and, after the fact, I wish I'd kept it.

    JMHO.
    those glass jewels were used by WAS Benson et al. in arts and crafts lamp shades. style could be gothic revival.

    I've seen those sold as Moroccan lamps and I've seen similar ones in Moroccan restaurants. If it's not Moroccan, it could be Turkish or Middle Eastern. It is very cool!
