Would be interested in opinions on whether this set might be D&E. Elements in favor: unmarked, prong set, unusual molded stones, dimensional style, many navettes, some open back, heavy mounting. Elements against: soldered bar clasp, can't find an exact match on the reference sites. Thank you for any thoughts on this.
It doesn't "smell" like it to me. The back is too neat and the pinback doesn't look like them. I'm no expert on the company however.
Very beautiful! I know Juliana didn't use the soldered bar clasp. A lot of sellers sell brooches with such a clasp and write that this is Juliana, but connoisseurs are already tired of explaining that this is not Juliana
The clasp bar doesn’t look right as it hasn’t got a pin stop. Very pretty though. Have you been through the ‘Is it Juliana?’ pages?
