Featured Just a lovely ceramic bust!

Just want to share this lovely bust that I brought on line for $20. I don't collect ceramics but something just made me fall in love her.
Stand about 15 cm high and doesn't seem to be signed.
What do you think?

 

I haven't devoted hours of brain-mashing research into this piece, but for 15 bucks-it's wonderful (unsigned- WGAS). Old/New-unknown by me.
Love the glaze-reminds me of Robert Arneson's squiggly calligraphic multi-colored glazes (don't think it's by him).
His glazing looks like he used Crayolas on some pieces (in a good way !)

 

I can't help you but I want to say you've got a good eye. She's an interesting decorative piece if nothing else. Really eye pleasing.

 

Not a clue. Italian maybe?

Wow that is really close. I'm not saying it's her, but there does appear to be something scratched into the inside on the right side of the photo.
