Now I know. Do you know what it is and/or how it is used? 12 x 4 x 1.25”, steel, one piece, not a tuning fork.

No but at least we’re thinking machine shop now.

I guess I should share one secret of success in the whatzit game. If there are any alphanumerics visible, they can often provide the key; usually more reliable than trying to figure it out from the general images alone.

That’s probably obvious to veteran whatzitites, but I guarantee you that no one who has posted here so far has done that or they’d have won already.

Could be a PICKLE FORK for separating ball joints though should be tapered.
For popping loose drillpress bits and/or lathe chuck tools?

    DETROIT MICHIGAN......GA?SONS GRIP......NO 110......and I haven't a clue!!!!!

EDIT: 110, RADISONS??? Still doesn't help MEEEE!!!!

Samson’s Grip no. 110 wishbone is a milling hold-down-- Just ye olde generic milling clamp. Put the fork end on the block and put the little nub on the work. Put the stud and nut close up to the work and as far from the blocking as possible. These things hold like nobody's business.

and DO NOT ask me what the H..... that is!!!!! That's what BING said with YOUR image!!!!!

I assume it isn't a tuning fork, for tuning one's contrabass viol.....whack it, you get a nice note about eight octaves below middle C.

Something to do with a lathe...perhaps. I'm pretty ignorant about machinery though - just googling around a bit brought me to that suggestion.
