Maybe the bottoms come out on the shelf next week? The inner lip is curved in. Am I looking for a bowl form?

No maker's mark. Maybe the edge engraving is a bee or fly.

How am I ever going to polish the pomegranates?

Bowl form - likely. However keep in mind that it might also look like a soup tureen.

Edit - just realized how small they are. Scratch tureen.

Perhaps they are from storage jars or canisters....looks Moorish or a design from India.

    Maybe Malaysia or Sumatra (Indonesia).
If you can't find matching bowls, try them on blue and white Chinese porcelain bowls. I've seen similar lids on Chinese bowls.
@Silver Wolf , what do you think?

The finial reminded me of Peranakan as well, but the Peranakan style is usually highly decorated.
The round inside rims suggest that they sat on something round, not lobed?

    Gorgeous set in the link.

could be chinese peach or pomegranate?
you could use them as covers for steaming cups/mugs of tea or coffee or milo or etc. very common where i am. shops still sell separate lids for this purpose. forgot to say that they also keep the flies/bugs from "diving" into the cup :hilarious::hilarious:

    Hi Terry,
Use a very soft toothbrush. If you want send them to me. Ill polish them up and resend them to you. Haggarty"s silver cream is better and a hell of a lot cheaper than Simethicream.

I think the 'flies' are supposed to be flowers. They don't really look like pomegranate flowers but fruit do.
