    They feel and clink
like a ceramic. They appear to have been painted.
    Girl 3" , dog 2.75, " shoe 3". No marks.
They all have a very odd feel to my fingers.

    What sort of ceramic ?

Thanks. Sorry to post about something so minor, but I can't help being curious.

Likely c.1940's / 1950's chalkware trinkets given away at carnivals as prizes or sold as souvenirs.

    Agreeing!
I think they're very appealing. I can see them in a rustic or shabby-chic room...

Thanks. They really deteriorated in a short time, considering they were in a box in a closet. Honestly, the "feel" is ....creepy, somehow.

I pictured them in a dumpster quite honestly. The girl had a Walking Dead look !
    Thanks for responding.

    Oh, noooooooooooooo...
    Don't dumpsterize 'em!
I promise you, some people would gather them in a little spot some place in their country/rustic family room. They might not PAY much for them, but they wouldn't toss them.
    SAVE THE CHALKWARE!!!!!!

Well...clears throat...I just thought I'd try something...thinking if they weren't so ugly and I put them in a donation box, someone might get them for a child to paint...so....now she looks less Tank Grrrl and more Anne of Green Gables. 20170503_175435.jpg 20170503_180226.jpg 20170503_180711.jpg
