Kashmiri Silver compact mirror

    I got this beautiful piece of silver this weekend. It is probably late Victorian and made in the Kashmir region of India. I can't find any hallmarks but it is most likely sterling.
    I love the complex monogram too

    Nice, certainly looks colonial Kashmiri. It is a bit later though, 1920's to 40's given the form and mechanism, they were not made like this in the 19thC. They did use Sterling and it may well be, needs testing to be sure of course.
