Greetings from down here in NZ. I'm forever trawling through the net due to my insatiable thirst for knowledge- esp the knowledge of "things"/objects. Although we are a relatively 'new' country, occasionally I come across bits that were shipped over with early settlers and also a few from the influx of '10 pound poms' - as immigrants were so called from England at the time. Because of my minimal knowledge- I am forever going in circles and chasing the goose, as such. My hopes are that by joining this site, I can expand my knowledge whilst helping cut down on time spent researching, usually purely for my own curiosity- though sometimes for friends etc. In return I'm glad to help on matters involving kiwiana and the likes- if possible.
