Pottery/glass is always so busy... thought I'd post here. Outsider art?

So these were at a sale for $1. Some may say I overpaid. But they reminded me of something someone posted here, so just threw them in with everything else I was getting. Occasionally odd ball things have a following, so took a chance. But once home could not find similar and now they are staring at me and not exactly sparking joy. I think the label reads: ARS. Any hope for these two?

Vodoo? They make me think Haiti or Cuban syncretic religions

The faces might be reminding you of the dried apple dolls?
I don’t think you overpaid, they’re interesting. Looks like the Red Baron and Freddie Kruger. But could be anyone.

I like them somehow too. I must have a book on Haiti art somewhere, I will confirm if found something similar in style

Jivvy the research is my favorite

I agree with @i need help about the dried apple dolls -- they have that look (not saying that's what they are).

I like them. I do not want them. :bag:

Yes, I was thinking of those dried apple dolls. Bingo.

The 2nd figure reminds me of the movie version of Voldemort in the Harry Potter series.

The one with the goggles reminds of the Arctic explorer “mummies” they dug up.
