I wanted to check if I have a replica of the actual bottle considered that the one in the link below is a national treasure. The one I have is very old as well and I know it was not from alibaba.com.

Here is the link to Wikipedia:

Here are my pictures of my vase/bottle

I like the pictures with the gloves :)
I can't open the wiki link. What is the info on the piece?
It is good that you know yours is not from alibaba but do you know something more about it. Any provenance?
Maybe someone can help with the characters on the bottom. I am not familiar with antique Korean ceramics but the very old ones, are not they unsigned?

Thank you. I sell antiques back on ebay from time to time (supposedly dirt cheap says my friend). Anyways, I want to assume it can't be an original, but the craftsmanship on this is dead alike. I'm no expert so I'm hoping someone will help. I reposted the link below, hopefully it'll work.

Maybe it's just the pictures but looks like the one from wiki has more opaque green glaze while in yours you can see the paste underneath on some spots.

You're right. I'm just confused at this point because I'm just starring at the item and it looks so dead alike.

    Now look at yours
You can see the pooling of the glaze that kard refers to.

The Chinese are adept at copying earlier works. Even their own.

Asian ceramics are being faked a lot. Some copies are sloppy and some almost perfectly identical to the originals. But there are many antiques that revived styles and shapes from previous periods.
So, your piece can still have some age but I guess only expert would be able to tell how old.
I still think that the presence of a mark on the base indicates more recent piece. But I am not familiar with the marks on Korean ceramics as much as on Chinese.

Thank you. Do you think it would be worth just having sotheby do their free appraisal?

Also, would these be more close to the original Celedron (below):

I am not sure if Sothebys give an appraisal for any request they get. You may never hear from them if the value is below their limit. But give it a try. The other pieces look recent to me.
